Id Fan ImpellersIndustrial applications use ID fan
impellers to create an air or gas flow. The airflow is accelerated and directed
by the impeller, a rotating wheel with blades or vanes. These are employed in
systems where the inside pressure of a building or process must be lower than
the atmospheric pressure. They produce a suction or negative pressure that
pulls gas or air from the system and releases it into the atmosphere. The ID
fan impellers performance and efficiency are greatly influenced by the
impeller design. To achieve the best airflow and pressure characteristics, a
number of variables, including blade form, angle, and diameter, are taken into
account. |
